A double panelĀ and a new character? Will wonders never cease?

I was actually lucky enough to get the full double panel printed in the Badger Herald. They had space from being short a comic or two, or something. Or my editor just made room for it. The shortened version was just the lower half, but I like the extra time lapsing at the start.

In theory, Sasha and Kally wouldn’t have too many classes together, as Engineering courses and English courses don’t have too much overlap. I think I only had 15 or so credits that were to go generically into humanities courses. But I could see them in the same class for at least the first year or two..

I believe this is an example of the TV Trope Description Cut, even though it doesn’t involve a singular character. (I got stuck on the Gilligan Cut page for a bit, but it isn’t quite that).

And this is the first appearance of the new anchor that has a fairly regular appearance in the comic whenever generic news is needed to be announced.

Went and got his friend, more like.

The idea for flying squids came about due to a class my husband-to-be was taking online at the time. They had to write a paper explaining possible evolutions squid might make if they were dumped on some planet and left alone for billions of years. I suggested flying ones that drop down onto their prey from trees.

I don’t think he used my suggestion.
