The Badger Herald did a special ‘welcome’ issue for incoming freshmen that contained comics, so this is the first one I did for the 2008 Fall semester. In color, to boot!
And yes, 7:45am classes sucked.

I think most of us would.
Speaking of… *loads Dragon Age, Skyrim*
My older sister used to mention the same thing as Kally a few times in the past, related to me and a friend who could procrastinate a lot on assignments and still turn them in for good grades.
As a side note, it’s probably better to do things sooner, but I still feel like I work better under the extreme pressure of a deadline. It’s weird. :/
The ‘just a couple more minutes’ syndrome is especially prevalent in MMOs and RPGs. Why, I’ve just had it several times in the past month with WoW (Warlords of Draenor is a much better expansion than I thought it would be), Fantasy Life (must master all the lives!) and Dragon Age. I’m expecting similar results with Civilization Beyond Earth and the rest of the Dragon Age series (once I finish the first one. Gotta play them all!).
It’s another cameo! This time it’s my former guild leader in WoW, Miss Ladybug. :) She still plays too.
This particular comic was a bit of a jib at my Dad. He (and his coworkers, I think!) were slightly worried that I myself wasn’t paying that much attention in school because of what my comic was focusing on. :)
(Don’t worry, I was totally paying attention).
There was another JoCo concert in Madison around the time this strip was published. This time I did a more subtle reference to one of his songs.
Even then it’s a little iffy.
