I had gotten the idea for this comic from an April Fools’ comic done by another Badger Herald comic artist who was lampooning my comic. It was super well drawn, as it was done by a real art person instead of me (I think my April Fools’ comic would’ve been the one of C’est Le Mort). Unfortunately, the archives of the comic are no more, and I actually don’t quite remember who drew it! So sad. The general premise was that The Squid was really Cthulhu (or a minion of Cthulhu), which is really the bit of information needed to have this comic make more sense.
